Bill is The Social Kinetic’s arts guru and culture connector.
A key consultant to the Roundhouse in its rebirth, Bill has extensive connections with the arts world, from artists to policy makers, funders and Ministers.
For many years he has been a Board Director and Trustee of International House London and International House World and is currently a Governor of University College London Hospitals UCLH. As a young psychologist he undertook numerous research projects managing group studies with Lintas, Gallup and others.
It’s fair to say, Bill is always working on something extraordinary. Recent projects have included the ‘decriminalisation of drugs’, an audit of cultural provision in Krakow and a study of cultural accessibility in South Africa.
A former Director of The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Battersea Arts Centre and a cultural policy advisor to George Soros’ Open Society Institute, Bill is also a bee keeper and long-time community organiser who has set up city farms, pre-school provision and adventure playgrounds, alternative theatre and Housing Associations in North London.
Bill lives life according to his favourite saying: ‘Festina Lente’ (Hurry Slowly).
