We are thrilled to host the first in our 'Human Learning for Innovation Series' with a rare glimpse into the work of Médecins sans Frontières. Follow the journey of developing Tembo, a digital learning-platform that provides learning and development for over 20,000 Médecins sans Frontières staff, both in the field and offices. During this free online event, we will hear about and explore how Médecins sans Frontières are using Tembo and new ways of working to overcome challenges such as:
Scarce internet and working environments where people are displaced by conflict or natural disasters
Satellite communications, which limits connectivity
The need to learn and innovate rapidly as it’s critical for operations on the ground to run smoothly
Overcoming digital literacy challenges and language barriers
How to motivate and offer equal access to career and personal development for everyone working for Médecins sans Frontières, regardless of the location.
The Tembo Objectives
Ensure field staff are prepared and able to make critical operations run smoothly in disasters and war zones
Improved equitable and inclusive access to digital learning
Provide effective and quality learning solutions
Provide learning and development for all Médecins sans Frontières staff - regardless of location or the challenges
Join us, learn and connect.

The Human Learning for Innovation Series
The Whole Story - warts and all
In our work across the UK and around the world, we are frequently inspired, in fact blown away by the lessons to be learned from those at the front line of innovation. We know when it comes to technology and innovation, it is all about the humans. But how much attention do we pay. In a world with little time and significant need, it's essential we sit up and listen to these human lessons. So many times you read case studies of what went right and the impressive outcomes. You don't get the invaluable inside story. We wanted to share the stories and learning you might not normally get to hear. Plus the opportunity to speak to those at the front line of Human Centred Innovation.
If you have valuable human learning to share, do get in touch. We would love to know more.
